Angela Noble

About Me

I discovered my passion for graphic design in high school through digital media and photography courses. This passion fueled my decision to pursue a Bachelor of Design Honours degree. I was honoured to receive early admission to the joint program at York University and Sheridan College program in Design (YSDN). During the program, I was introduced to front-end development and quickly found myself eager to explore the technical side of making my designs come to life on websites. To further enhance my skills, I returned to Sheridan College after graduation to deepen my programming knowledge.

In 2022, I proudly earned an advanced diploma in Computer Systems Technology - Systems Analyst, graduating with High Honours. This program provided me with a strong foundation for my goal of mastering full-stack development and analyzing system and business requirements. I am passionate about enhancing the online experience through both visual design and behind-the-scenes functionality. My diverse skill set allows me to improve digital experiences by combining my technical expertise with a deep understanding of design principles.

During my last year at Sheridan College I was fortunate enough to work with the non-profit organization No One Goes Hungry for my Capstone project. As the team leader, I guided a group of developers in designing and building a website and an administrative portal that streamlined operations for the organization, allowing them to reach more individuals in need. Winning first place in the industry-adjudicated Capstone Competition was an incredibly rewarding acknowledgment of our efforts.

After completing my program, I was honoured to be chosen as the Valedictorian of the Faculty of Applied Science and Technology. Delivering the Valedictorian Address in front of my classmates and their families was both intimidating and empowering, as it helped me confront my fear of public speaking while celebrating our collective accomplishments.
