About

I am a multi-disciplinary web developer and designer with a focus in front-end development & UI/UX design.

I discovered my passion for graphic design in high school and pursued this path to receive a Bachelor of Design Honours degree in 2019 from the joint York University/Sheridan College Program (YSDN). During my undergraduate degree I was introduced to front-end development and decided to return to Sheridan College after graduation to continue developing my programming knowledge. I completed my advanced diploma for the Computer Systems Technology – Systems Analyst program at Sheridan College in December 2022. My time in this program taught me the fundamentals to become a full-stack developer, I graduated with a GPA of 3.92/4.0 and received the High Honours distinction.

During my last year at Sheridan College I was fortunate enough to work with the non-profit organization No One Goes Hungry to build them a custom website for my Capstone course. Throughout this project I put my full-stack development skills to use and worked on all aspects of the website. I loved getting the opportunity to use my skill set of both design and development for a good cause, that experience fuelled my passion for creating user friendly experiences. At the end of this course my project was selected to go on to the Capstone Competition where I presented my project to a panel of judges and won first place.

In my free time when I'm not coding or designing I like to spend my time with my dog, or going on adventures outdoors.
